Welcome back, one and all, to America's Most Reliable Outlet for Irrelevant News! Herein, lay the dillis:

The 7" is completed! That wasn't too complicated. Two gruling days with Master Diplomat and Cattle Wrangler Dave Gorsuch and we've turned out a totally mixed and mastered baddy for you Douche Goblins to consume! Of course, it's doubtful that most, if any, of you WILL consume it. For the total pot heads out there, we'd like to clarify that by CONSUME we do not mean INGEST. Burnout.

Either way, we're quite pleased with the finished product, which will be available shortly courtesy of Scotty over at the illustrious Tankcrimes Records. Check that shit out, or here for info on a release date/purchase/blah you get it. 7 Tracks on 7" of vinyl for you're listening enjoyment. Always more enjoyable than the bullshit that we call music is the artwork of the Mighty Norse Master of Loin Cloths and Lightning Bolts Becky Cloonan, which will grace both covers of this thing. I've forgotten where I was going with this paragraph.

We'd also like to take a second to thank all those who responded with offers to help on the gang vocals part, especially Lakis and Greg from I Will Kill You Fucker. You guys are the best, and we raise the binger to you. Also special thanks have to go to "The Vasectinator" and Dave for thier vocal contributions. Extra special thanks go to Chris Karloff for the use of his bass, and his metal zone (it rules, Greg!), and his valiant attempt to help out with some vocals, despite our being too retarded to keep on scheduale. So thanks to you all.

Ok douche bags, no time for frilly introductions...we've known each other too long for small talk. Here's the news:

Once again, Population Reduction is shattering the paradigm of common sense. We've got a full length LP recorded, mixed and mastered. We labored over it, pouring our blood, sweat, tears and love into its creation. We sacrificed relationships, sleep, time and the shit load of beer that we could have bought with that money. So what are we doing?

We're sitting on it and recording some other shit!!! Why, you ask?

Because we're fucking assholes, I guess.

Seriously though, we're very excited to let you all know that we're going to be releasing a 7" on the prestigious Tankcrimes Records, much to the chagrin of the known universe. We'd love to be able to tell you that there were lots of suits involved, wheeling/dealing, big contract negotiations and the like, but staying true to form, the truth is that we were buring one down with Scotty like a week ago and we're all like "Dude...records are cool and shit." And, well, here we are.

We hit the studio this coming Saturday to lay down the tracks with world famous physicist and hacky sack afficianado Dave Gorsuch. The cover art (which we've already done the layout on, and it looks fuckin' rad!) has, as always, been done by 7th degree Master Shadow Assassin Becky Cloonan, who we're proud to say REALLY went above and beyond the call of duty on this one. It looks more phenominal than we could ever have imagined. It'll contain four or five originals and a Chris Reifert approved Abcess cover. No, we're not fucking kidding, Chris Reifert himself approved it! Yes, that Chris Reifert. Did we mention Chris Reifert? Chris Reifert.

Ok, I'm really brewin' a serious dooger here, so we're gonna cut this shit short. All that pay pal shit, some new pics, and (hopefully) more intuitive buttons on this shit are all on the way. That's it, really, I gotta poop.
