Wow. Hell of a week, if we say so ourselves. First off, the Warm Water Cove show was fucking awsome. Great crowds, great bands, and a fucking keg of Guiness. No better way to spend a saturday in our opinion. Thanks to all the kids who came out, and a special thanks to Max (whose band Collateral Damage was fucking awsome) for hooking it up. That's like our favorite place to play on the West Coast now, those shows are always fucking rad.
The good news doesn't end there, however! Check the shows page frequently as we will be updating it with more info about our show with none other than GHOUL!!! They totally kick ass, so we're real stoked about this one. Also, the Federales were nice enough to give us back a small chunk of the cash that they took out of our paychecks to carpetbomb Iraq back to the stone age, so we may be able to get those recordings out sooner than anticipated. And to top it off, good ole' Condi Rice is going on the record with the 9-11 commission. Great shows, new recordings, and the NSA getting the squeeze - truly, this is a red letter day for the American people. ~ Population Reduction

Welcome back ladies. There are many doin's afoot in over here in Pop Redux-ville, so here's the fucking news:
Firstly, we've recently grabbed a monthly practice spot, which may mean that we won't suck as much as you are used to us sucking in the future. There's no guarantee of that, but then, those of you who know us are well aware of our suckatude. We'll miss Alfie and Smokey from down at Lennon Studios, and we'd recommend it to any of you fucks who needs an hourly rehearsal space in SF.
Also, everyone come the fuck on out to the Warm Water Cove Show this saturday. It's gonna kick ass - 10 bands, all fucking FREE! Come on down, have a fucking beer, and waste some time with us. ~ Population Reduction

Hello all. Sorry about the lack of updates recently, it took us a little while to find our way out of the Cave of Doom high atop Mount Evil in the badlands of...well it's a long story.
The show at The Long Haul went well. They had this totally badass full stack with skulls spray painted on it for us to use, but we don't seem to have any photos of it, so I guess it's lost forever. If ya didn't, you should've come. We hope it benefited Juan some, he's good folk. Thanks to Matt and Juan for hooking us up with the show, and all the anarchists who stuck around - super special thanks to the folks who bought CDs, because otherwise, we may have gotten stuck in the east bay for days.
In other news, we'll be playing a couple of shows with those kick ass motherfuckers from Magrudergrind in late August as part of thier US tour, so keep an eye out for that show info as it comes in - if you haven't checked out thier shit, do it NOW, since they kick ass. Also, we've posted our first, and probably only music video (yeah, you fuckin' heard right, assholes) on the Discography Page, so go ahead and download to your hearts content. We've got a shit-ton of new material ready to go, and we're planning on hitting the studio soon, so be prepared to run for fucking cover, ladies. ~ Population Reduction

Well, we're back in the bay. The show up in Humboldt was fucking cool as shit, if sparsley attended. At least we're used to it. Thanks to Jake and J.P. for hooking it up, thanks to Marco for filiming it, and thanks to Ginger Brown for sticking around. On the positive side, we did meet a dude from a local metal band (we are SO sorry that we spaced your name, but it was a crazy few days) who dug the set and offered us a slot playing with his band in the near future. It seems that the great Redwoods of the mountians ain't seen the last of us assholes.
In other positive news, we will be playing Warm Water Cove again - we fucking couldn't have had a better time last time, and we're totally stoked for round two. Keep an eye on the shows page for info on that. Oh, and while we're thinkin' about shows, the Benefit for Juan show this saturday seems to be totally up in the air, so don't nobody head out to it without contacting us, or Joe from Mutual Abuse, or someone in the know. Also, sitewise, we've got a new link on the links page, new photos up, ordering info for some of the merch (finally!) and we should have a new video up soon as well. Ok, here's the score, ladies: First off, thanks to everyone who came out to the Palo Alto show. Even though this was a very poorly organized event from minute one, and the cops showed up, it was still a good time. Thanks again to Joe for hooking it up.
We'd also like to plug the mailing list - if you're interested, drop us a line via the contact page and we'll add ya to it. Not that you don't get enough total bullshit in your email to begin with, but we'd be honored to take up just a bit more space in your junk folder. Be warned though: We seem to be having trouble sending the damn thing out, so if anyone who was expecting to recieve an email from us in the last couple of days did (or didn't) please let us know - our dedicated staff of, uh, two is pulling triple shifts to rectify any potential problems.
Well, tommorow night it's Humboldt, and saturday Oakland - we hope to see all of you at these shows, and we should actually have some CD's for sale by the Oakland show as well!!! Go fucking figure, eh? Oh, and if anyone is interested in having us play anywhere at all, anytime, for any reason whatsoever, we'd be really happy to do it.
