Ah, the abbreviated days of fall are here again. As days so swiftly wain we, once again, bring you all the shit that's fit to print:
First off, we're once again playing Kimo's, only this time, instead of friends from back east it's with some band we've never heard of. Oh well, they've probably never heard of us either. The shows page will contain more info.
In other news, we'd like to encourage everyone to check out the Guitars Not Guns website. They are in the midst of some fundraising, but can always use help in the form of money, volunteers, or publicity...we're not affilited with this group in any way, but we do support a totally secular charity whose purpose is to put guitars into kids' hands and teach 'em to play...some of these little bastards may just be the Dallas Toler-Wades of tommorow.
Finally, the Dawn of the Dead: Ultimate Edition DVD is totally worth to dough...and even though the Holy Revered One's name is associated with it, do not see this steaming pile. Seriously, it's barely even good for a laugh. Also, what with the election creeping ever closer (In all seriousness, Population Reduction highly encourages you all to fucking vote! ~ ed.), a little bit of politcal humor is in order. ~ Population Reduction

Welcome! Come on in to our virtual home, pull up a virtual seat, and enjoy some virtual tea and crumpets. Personally, we recommend the virtual Apricot preserves...on with festivities:
The show in Arcata was a rousing success...if by success you mean a drunken disaster which got broken up by the cops. Sadly, that really is what we consider a success. Still a good time seemed to be had by, well frankly most, but that ain't bad. We also got treated to the machinations of a fella named Jay, who not only was the wildest one-man mosh pit we've ever seen, but was also nice enough to host the show at his house. Once again, we'd like to thank Marco for his endless hospitalty, and for the target practice.
Those of you who read this site with any frequency (Hi Mom! Just Kidding...my Mom would never read this ~ ed.) you may remember the little contest we put up last week. When B.W. "Oppenheimer" Levine was excluded from the Quantum Chromodynamics contest, he dropped us a friendly note on the matter which read like this:

Um, the only thing I can think of is that without said force, you would not have "metal" of any kind, referring more specifically to those on the table of elements. Without those metals, you wouldn't have living things mostly cause you wouldn't have minerals and vitamins and chairs.
On the flip side, if you could release that energy, you would probably get a really loud "BOOM" and that's very metal, as we all know.

Welcome to October, ladies...Autumn is in full swing, and so are we! More or less. Well, ok, probably less than more, but by now, this should come as no surprise.
In any event, we managed to salvage this month with a show in Humboldt, which we always look forward to. More info on that to come. Also, we are in the process of solidifying not only some merch, but the CD, which up until now has been much balyhooed, but with little in the way of tangable results...never fear, ladies, we shall have some rock solid info on that by the end of the month, so stay tuned. While you're at it, mourn today the loss of Janet Leigh, to whom classic horror fans need no introduction.
For all of you folk out there who like to get free stuff, well, we've just the opportunity for ya! Anyone who can submit to us proof that satisfactorily demonstrates a relevant relationship between this and the current state of U.S. Death Metal, we'll hook you up with a free shirt as soon as we get them made up.
