Welcome, citizens. The show in Reno this weekend with Dog Assassin and Burning at Both Ends was totally fucking awesome...great crowd, great venue, great bands. We had a really great time, and we're really looking forward to coming back to Reno sometime...also, Dog Assassin should be hitting the coast for a few days in Jamuary, so we'll keep ya'll posted about that. We'd like to send out some super special fucking thanks to Cam and Tress for hooking up the show and putting us up, and we'd also like to thank the residents/proprieters of the Pit...Pete would like to, again, sincerely apologize for walking right the fuck through your screen door, but he just didn't see the fucking thing.

Other than that, if you check out the Shows Page, you will note that there is nothing on it. Someone, anyone, please, book our stupid band. We want to be loved. Please. In the meantime, we're going to take the opportunity to turn out some merch, and get on that whole fucking CD thing, but that's no reason we can't play out. People hating us, finding us obnoxious, or offensive, now those are reasons not to have us play your show...and of course, the reason that we'd like to. ~ Population Reduction

Well, well. We meet again. Sure, you thought that this was over...but it's never over; it can end only when all that remains is peace, and death.

Don't you just love that overly dramatic stuff? It makes me feel like Max von Sydow or something, even just typing it. Man, that's great.

Ok, ladies, if anyone is going to be in the same Hemisphere as Reno, NV this saturday, we implore you to come check us out with the mighty Dog Assassin (whose website we'll post up as soon as we can figure out what it is) at The Pit, which is located at 215 Cheney Street, or whatever the link says. There's another band or two on the bill, and it should be a rollicking good time. This one is gonna be extra cool, since it's a basement show, and we haven't had a chance to play one of those since we moved west, owing largely to the whole fault line thing. If you feel like taking a weekend trip, this is the time to do it.

Also, as this is being written, the infamous and elusive Doctor X is undergoing some kind of really heinous medical proceedure which involves the removal of massive quantities of his own hemoglobin. As a result of this, we should have some new merch available SOON!!! And, depending on how cool the orderlies are, some really nasty pictures for the site. It's totally Gross. ~ Population Reduction

What's this? Something exciting and new? All aboard ladies, we're expecting you.

The show at Kimo's went as well as could be expected, under the cicumstances. Thanks to everyone who bothered coming out, despite the whole "cancellation" fiasco. We'd hoped to have a better turn-out for Maryland's own Gunslingers of Grind, Magrudergrind, but the combo of the aforementioned and the 21+/monday night thing was aligned against us. Nevertheless, Magrudergrind is awesome as fuck, it was great to finally hook up a show with them, and we wish them luck on the rest of thier tour. All of you meat sacks around the country should check thier website and be sure to check 'em out when the grind a town near you into oblivion. Oh, and we almost forgot to mention that Bristle did show up for the show, and played some kick ass punk motherfuckin' rock. Bass fills galore, and a Sabbath tribute song? You just can't miss with that shit.

As for us, well, if anyone's in or around Nevada on September 18th, you can check us out with legendary Anarcho-Zombie Legionnaires Dog Assassin. Details on the shows page. In addition, we've been added to the NCMU site, which we're really stoked about. If you haven't checked it out yet, do so with all due speed...not only does it have tons of awesome Northern California metal bands, but the site is magnificently designed. A top quality place to hang out on the internet, to say the least.

We've merch ideas in the works, and a full length to get recorded, and there should be news on that just as soon as the good Doctor sells about half of his body weight in blood. The sad part is that most of you probably think that's a joke... ~ Population Reduction
